Eczema on the skin

Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a kind of swelling or irritation on the skin. Its symptoms are dry and itchiness, but in some cases it can cause some rashes. It is not a contagious disease, although it can be very bothersome for some patients. There is not a direct connection for this illness to appear, nevertheless it is more commonly affected by some environmental issues or genetic problems.

The treatment for dermatitis is mostly moisturizing creams to prevent the skin from being too dry. More often than not, your general practitioner might prescribe some other pills, but these are only in very severe cases. The easiest way to prevent this disease is to keep your skin clean and hydrated which can be done by applying creams and using some gentle washer or gel. Even more so, unhealthy levels of stress can also cause this sickness to emerge, so if someone is under a lot of pressure and they get this rash, the best thing they can do is relax and apply moisturizer.
