Frequently Asked Questions
Here you can find some answers to your frequently asked questions
Repeat Prescriptions
To request the renewal of a medication that has been previously prescribed by one of our doctors at the clinic, and as long as it is not a psychiatric / psychological medication, you can request it through our website https://esdoctors.ie/repeat-prescriptions/.
Once you have submitted your request, one of our doctors will review your case. If the renewal is deemed appropriate and the prescription can be issued, you will be notified of the approval. Upon receiving the approval, you will need to pay a fee of €30, and your medication will be sent to you.
Please note that this process takes approximately 3-5 business days.
Health insurance
Please note that we don’t work with health insurance companies.
We will provide you with a payment receipt after your consultation so that you can claim a refund from them. We advise you to check with them first to see if they cover our services.
How to get a blood test / laboratory test
In order to get a blood – laboratory test done you need a consultation with one of our GPs first, if you have a request from another Dr, you can show your documents from them to the GP so they can organize a valid request for you.
Please note that test fees depend on each patient’s personal order request. We are unable to confirm a test fee without the final order from the doctor as this will depend on the type and extent of the test. Fees start at €100.
Dermatologist / Urologist / Cardiologist / Paediatric Services
Unfortunately, we do not offer these services at the time, but if you wish, one of our GPs can provide you with a referral letter during the consultation so that you can attend a consultation with a specialist or specialised centre.
Iron Infusion Request
To get started, you should have a consultation with one of our GPs, who can order the iron sessions for you.
If you have any recent blood tests showing iron deficiency (no more than 3 months), please bring them with you. This will help the doctor determine the number of sessions required for your case. After the consultation, our reception will provide you with the costs and available dates for the sessions.
